Birth and postpartum doula support for women who know birth is powerful and want to feel held, supported, and truly seen.

You know birth is powerful.

You trust your body…mostly.

You know it’s natural.

But, that doesn’t mean it’s easy, especially when you’re navigating a system that doesn’t always listen.

You deserve to feel

• prepared for how birth will feel
• that your feelings and wishes will be respected
• surrounded by people who fully understand your choices
• empowered by home birth, co-sleeping, physiological feeding, slow postpartum

You want someone in your corner…someone who gets it.

That person is me. I’ll always be in your corner…talking through options over a cuppa, holding space through each surge…I’m here, for whatever you need.

“I want my partner to feel confident.”

“During our antenatal sessions Jemma was able to help us zero in on what was important, giving us all the information we needed and bringing us together as a couple.”

Does it really work?

In a nutshell…yes! Hypnobirthing teaches you how your body works during birth.
You’ll learn practical tools, how to work with your body, calm your nervous system, and make decisions that feel right for you. Your partner will learn how to advocate for you, practical ways to help, and how to protect your birthy bubble. This is preparation for real birth.

A woman is having a home birth, she is leaning over the edge of her birth pool, her arms are hanging off the side. A doula is beside her, stroking her shoulder and telling her how incredible she is.

What do you actually do?

I walk into birth with you, not as the expert of your body, but as the guardian of your space. I notice what you need before you have to ask…a drink, a touch, a word, a little more privacy, a little more courage.
I help you understand your choices, keep communication gentle, and stay close through every surge. I’m there for your partner as well, quietly guiding, encouraging, and sharing the load so you can both be fully present.

Will you look after me too?

Absolutely. Postpartum doula support is about holding you while you hold your baby.
I can help lighten the load with gentle newborn care, feeding support (breast or bottle), and the everyday things that make early days feel easier... a warm meal, a hot shower, a chance to rest, simply keeping the laundry moving. I’m here for the big feelings and the wobbly moments too. I’ll sit with you, help you feel seen, and remind you, you’re doing better than you think.

Ready to explore what support could look like for you?

You don’t need to have everything figured out.
A short chat is often enough to help things feel clearer.

Whether you’re planning a homebirth, navigating hospital care, birth after trauma or finding your feet postpartum, we’ll talk it through gently, no pressure, no expectations.
