Your story heard, honoured, and processed in a safe space, whether you were my client or not
“I chose to have only people I trusted in my birth space. Jemma made my entire pregnancy and birth a place of safety and kindness. She got on with my husband like a house on fire, I could see she had taken the worry away from him, and as a result, he was much more present for me.”

Common Questions
What You're Wondering
-
Yes! Hypnobirthing teaches you how your body works during birth. You'll learn practical tools to calm your nervous system, work with your body, and make confident decisions. Your partner will learn how to advocate and support you too. My hypnobirthing is preparation for real birth.
-
Our relationship begins long before labour starts. During antenatal sessions, we'll explore your hopes and fears, build your birth plan, and work through all your options using evidence-based information. You'll learn practical tools through hypnobirthing to help your body work with labour, not against it. Your partner will learn how to support you effectively and feel confident in their role.
Then, from 38+4 weeks, I'm on-call for you. When labour begins, I come to you, whether that's at home or meeting you at hospital, and I’ll stay with you until your baby is born and you feel ready for me to leave. I notice what you need before you have to ask…a drink, a touch, a word, a position change, a little more privacy, a little more courage. I help you understand your choices in the moment, keep communication gentle with staff, and stay close through every surge. I'm there for your partner too, quietly guiding, encouraging, and sharing the load so they can be fully present without feeling overwhelmed.
This continuity of care, the same person from pregnancy through birth and into postpartum means you're never facing the unknown with strangers. You know me, I know you, and we've built trust together. -
Absolutely. Postpartum support is about holding you in whatever way you need. I can help with newborn care, feeding support (breast or bottle), warm meals, and the everyday things that make early days feel easier. I'm here for the big feelings and wobbly moments too. Providing a Mary Poppins service for the whole family.
-
I primarily support families across Cheshire and Wirral, including Chester, Ellesmere Port, Wirral Peninsula, and surrounding areas. If you're unsure whether I can support you, just ask during your discovery call.
-
I offer birth debrief sessions for anybody who needs to talk through their birth experience, whether you were my client or not. Sometimes you just need someone who truly understands birth to help you process what happened, in a balanced and non-biased way, to answer lingering questions, and validate your feelings. This isn't therapy, it's a safe, non-judgemental space to be heard and understood.
